Got this myself on my phone, and it just rejected to update. Right here's what worked for me.

Edit: this appears to be an issue that Facebook are aware of. It's a problem with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Store problem.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all data and also Clear cache


It does not injured if you restart your phone before you try upgrading facebook again. And also, the set up was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 minutes. However, it did job. If not try to uninstall it, or merely wait on a fix.
