Got this myself on my phone, and it just refused to upgrade. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this appears to be a problem that Facebook recognize. It's a problem with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Shop issue.

This is what helped me at least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage area, Clear all data and also Clear cache


It does not injured if you restart your phone before you try upgrading facebook once more. As well as, the install was SLOW. Just at the very least 4-5 mins. Yet, it did job. Otherwise try to uninstall it, or just await a repair.
