Turn Off Facebook Location

Facebook goes to it once again, launching yet one more function that I never had the possibility to nicely opt out of: location sharing.

When Facebook determined to take out initiatives from its temporary check-in solution, Places, it swiftly executed a much more easy location-sharing function that does not even have a name. It's just there. And it's scary.

Now, whenever you compose a post on a smart phone or home computer, you'll see a light-gray area summary in the lower left of the standing box.

Facebook sneakily orders your place through GPS or Wi-Fi router, and attaches it to your blog post, so your close friends can take pleasure in a more in-depth stalking experience.
