Got this myself on my phone, and it simply declined to upgrade. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a concern that Facebook are aware of. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and also not a generalised Play Store issue.

This is what benefited me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage space, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not hurt if you reboot your phone prior to you try upgrading facebook again. And, the mount was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 minutes. But, it did job. If not try to uninstall it, or just await a fix.
