I Updated Facebook and now It Won't Work

Got this myself on my phone, and it simply declined to update. Right here's what worked for me.

Edit: this appears to be a problem that Facebook recognize. It's a concern with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Shop concern.

This is what benefited me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear information and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Provider > Manage room, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It doesn't harmed if you reboot your phone before you try updating facebook again. As well as, the set up was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 minutes. But, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or simply wait for a fix.
